Terms & Conditions

Customers must agree to our terms and conditions when placing an order. The FAQ section also has more information to consider. Please contact us if you have any questions.

 

Payment

For all orders under $100 full payment is due at time of ordering. Customers will have 24 hours to request a cancellation with full refund, or 48 hours to request cancellation with 50% refund and 50% store credit. 

 

Deposit

For all orders over $100, a 50% non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit is due at the time of order placement in order to reserve a date. Until this is paid, the date is not reserved and may fill up. This fee goes toward the total cost, and the remaining half is due 24 hours before date of delivery or pickup. All orders will have a written invoice emailed to the customer at the time of order.

 

Order Changes

We understand things can change. If a customer needs to change an order or delivery/pickup date, we will try to accommodate to the best of our abilities. Due to the nature of baked goods, no guarantees can be made to accommodate certain changes. A rush change fee may apply.

For custom cake orders, changes will need to be discussed no later than 1 week before the delivery or pickup date.

 

Refunds For Custom Orders

We can offer refunds up to 48 hours after the deposit is accepted. Unfortunately, after that time we cannot offer refunds as the supplies are likely already ordered. Customers can choose to either forfeit their deposit, or continue with their order as planned. For custom orders, customers MUST pay the remaining balance no later than 24 hours before the due date. Failure to pay the remaining balance within 24 hours of order due date forfeits the entire order, including the 50% initial deposit.

We aim for happy customers. If a customer is not satisfied with their order for any reason, we will work together to come to an acceptable resolution.

 

No Shows

Each order will have a confirmed time and date for delivery or pickup. We will contact the customer on the day before and an hour before delivery to confirm. If the customer does not pickup, respond, or we are unable to reach them, their order will be held for 24 hours, and the customer will be responsible for pickup during that time. After 24 hours, the order will be cancelled with no refunds given. 

 

Custom Cakes

We cannot copy another baker's cake design 100%, but will try to use the customer's photographs as inspiration to the best of our abilities.

We do not design cakes with licensed characters and images due to copyright laws. 

 

Allergens

Our kitchen is not allergy friendly as we use nuts, milk, and other potential allergens in our baking area. We cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from the consumption of our baked goods due to allergies, choking, or improper storage before eating.

 

Cake Care

Each cake will be delivered with "Cake Care Instructions" to be followed for optimum cake presentation and consumption. Please follow all instructions to enjoy the best cake experience. Sweet Jins LLC will not be responsible for any issues from customer's failure to follow these instructions.

 

Baked Goods Aftercare

Sweet Jins LLC cannot be held responsible for any issues that arise after the customer takes physical custody of their order. Any discrepancies or complaints about presentation must be brought to our attention at the time of delivery or pickup. Any discrepancies or complaints about taste or quality of the baked goods must be brought to our attention within 24 hours of delivery or pickup, and we will try our best to fix the issue. Full refunds are not guaranteed.
